Small Circles, Infinite Ripples

“There is a Power in the universe greater than you are, and you can use it.” — Ernest Holmes
For almost 8 years, we have gathered in Power of Eight circles with a simple intention: to come together, hold goodness in mind and heart, and offer it into the world. Many of you will remember how those meetings felt — the closeness, the sincerity, the quiet power of a small group of people aligned in care and purpose.
I often said that we could not possibly imagine how far-reaching the effects of our circles might be. That when people come together regularly, with focused intention and open hearts, something larger than us is set in motion — something that doesn’t stop at the walls of the room.
Today I saw new research from the work of Joe Dispenza that deeply affirmed that knowing. In these studies, small groups gathered in coherent, emotionally elevated states were found to correlate with measurable changes not just locally, but globally — suggesting that even relatively small, aligned groups can influence the larger field of collective consciousness.
Reading this, I smiled. Not because it was new — but because it confirmed what we lived. We didn’t come together to change the world. We came together to be present, to care, to hold one another and the wider human family in intention. And in doing so, we became part of something far bigger than any one of us. And in ways we may never know, we made a positive difference.
If you were ever part of those circles, I want you to remember this: what we did mattered. The sweetness you felt was real. The coherence we shared didn’t end when the evening ended. And the goodness we offered traveled farther than we could see.
Perhaps now, more than ever, it’s worth remembering how powerful it is — simply — to come together.
If this stirs something in you, know that these kinds of circles are still happening. Lynne McTaggart hosts free, worldwide group intentions on Sunday mornings through her community at lynnemctaggart.com. Or better, you might consider begining one of your own — and if you’d like guidance, I’m always happy to help.
With Love as my Intention,
